Were these pages useful to you?
Were these pages useful to you? If so, I would like to ask for your financial support. Money drives a lot of things in our world, and when I wrote Greenberg’s Guide to Märklin Z in 1988, the world was a different place. I did not write the book for the money, because there just wasn’t all that much involved. Rather, I wrote the book because I had to, because of a compulsion that said my experience and my words were valuable. The book sold out, and it was money that kept the book from being printed a second time; potential publishers estimated that there could not be enough demand quickly enough to justify the costs of a second press run. And so that is where things stayed for more than a decade.
It became increasingly apparent that there still was a need for a guide book to Z-Scale, and it remains possible that there may yet be a printed book based upon these pages. But for the moment, that book is still a distant reality. Yet, the words need to be said and this website is the result. My work has some value to you and the server space that brings these pages to you costs money, so I am asking for your support.
The dollar number is what you want to make of it. I’ve given a lot of thought to the amount, and $10.00 seems to be fair. The Greenberg book originally sold for $24.95, and this website does not cost as much as a book, so ten bucks sounds fair. Of course, being entrepreneurial, I am always willing to accept more.
